Portstewart
Located near Royal Portrush on the north coast of Northern Ireland, we highly suggest a visit to Portstewart, especially the Strand Course, regularly ranked third behind the magnificent Royal works of art at County Down and Portrush in terms of best courses in Northern Ireland, The Strand is defined by its undulating dunes, runoff pot bunkers, rolling fairways, and difficult manicured greens. The European Tours Irish Open was held here in 2017 won by Jon Rahm who said “the golf course is amazing. It’s probably one of the most beautiful golf courses I have ever seen, if not the most”.
Royal County Down
The Royal County Down Golf Club is located inside the Murlough Nature Reserve, with the coastline of Dundrum Bay and the majestic Mourne Mountains on either side. It is only right that the Championship Links is frequently rated as the best course in the world given its amazing natural surroundings. The club, which was established in 1889 and has two courses, has a rich history and has hosted several notable amateur and professional championships over the years.
Tee times are hard to come by at this highly rated and sought-after golf club, so to avoid disappointment, we recommend scheduling at least 12 months in advance.

Royal Portrush
Royal Portrush Golf Club is set in a triangle of massive sandhills with breathtaking views of the hills of Donegal to the west, the Isle of Islay and Southern Hebrides to the north, and the famous Giant's Causeway and the Skerries to the east. The Causeway Coast & Glens area is recognized for its exceptional natural beauty. The legendary Dunluce Links golf course in Royal Portrush, one of the hardest in the world, gets its name from the ruins of the 13th-century Dunluce Castle, which overlooks the courses. Being the only course to hold the Open Championship (twice) outside of mainland UK, Dunluce Links is regarded as one of the top links courses in the world and has played host to over 50 national and international amateur championships. Dunluce Links is a must-play when visiting Northern Ireland.
Portmarnock
Founded in 1894, Portmarnock Golf Club has hosted several Irish Opens, the Walker Cup, the Irish Amateur Close Championship, and the British Amateur Championship. It is often rated among the best golf courses in the world.
The links are barely 10 miles north of Dublin on a small tongue of shallow duneland on the shore. Five-time Open Champion Tom Watson said it best when he said, "There are no tricks or nasty surprises, only an honest, albeit searching test of shot making skills."

The European Club
Situated amidst cascading dunes and with views of the sea from nearly every hole, The European is among the longest links, at little less than 7500 yards from the tips. Fortunately, there are an abundance of tee boxes to select from. Tiger Woods holds the course record with a score of 67, and Rory won the Irish Amateur championship. Many champions have played here. Padraig Harrington won the Irish PGA the week before he won the Open Championship, setting himself up for two wins here. This is a memorable and exciting course with a large diversity of holes, five of which are extremely near to the water. In fact, players are frequently found on the beach looking for their lost balls.
County Louth
Known as "Baltray," this highly regarded links course is currently rated as one of the top 5 courses in Ireland. This award-winning golf club is ideally situated in the historic Boyne valley area on Ireland's east coast, just 45 minutes from Dublin Airport and less than an hour from the city center. Established in 1892, Baltray has a rich history and a well-deserved reputation for turning out some of Ireland's best players. The course was redesigned in 1938 by golf architects Molly Gourlay and Tom Simpson. This championship links, a par 72 that measures 7,031 yards from the back tees, is renowned for offering one of the most equitable and pure tests of links golf anywhere in the world. This is the links course that former Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley loves. He says, It's just a great test. All the holes run in different directions, so you have a different exam paper on each hole”.

Jameson Golf Links
Jameson Links at Portmarnock Golf Resort is a magnificent peninsula that juts out into the Irish Sea, just a short drive from Dublin. It was created through a multi-million-euro redevelopment of the previous Portmarnock Hotel and Golf Links. The early holes play leisurely away from the sea before the course comes alive just before the turn as the holes make their way through shaggy dunes back towards the coast. The back nine includes a sequence of visually magnificent links holes studded with deep bunkers, with steep sides giving the course a traditional aspect while using modern architectural approaches.
"As you walk down the fairway of life you must smell the roses, for you only get to play one round."
- Ben Hogan
