St Andrews

Known as the "Home of Golf," St Andrews Golf Links is arguably the most famous on the planet.  Nevertheless, St Andrews Links' extends beyond its status as the location of the Open Championship thanks to its seven breathtaking courses.  The Old Course, The Castle Course, The New Course, Jubilee Course, Eden Course, Strathtyrum Course, and Balgove Course are among the golf courses at the club; each provides a distinctive, entertaining, and challenging round of golf. In addition to these breathtaking courses, there is a wealth of golfing history to appreciate.

Turnberry

The storied Ailsa Course, home of four Open Championships, has played host to some of the most memorable events in golfing history. Reimagined in June 2016 by world-famous architect Martin Ebert, the Ailsa now has the top ranking among golf courses in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Nestled along the magnificent Ayrshire coastline, with the breathtaking backdrops of Arran and Ailsa Craig, this golf venue is among the best in the world.

Royal Troon

Currently hosting the Open Championship, Royal Troon is among the top links courses in the UK and Ireland. Located close to Prestwick on Scotland's southwest coast, the golf course was established in 1878 by a group of avid golfers from the area. Willie Fernie and James Braid later made renovations that led to its current state.   This classic out-and-back links course has served as a significant championship location, providing professional players with one of The Open's toughest tests.

"Don't practice until you get it right, practice until you can't get it wrong"

- Payne Stewart

Carnoustie

The Championship, Burnside, and Buddon are the three courses available at Carnoustie Golf Links. The Championship Course, sometimes known as "Carnasty" because of its extreme difficulty, is a regular stop on The Open schedule and will live on in golf legend forever because of Jean van de Velde's collapse in 1999.

Muirfield

Since hosting The Open Championship in 1892, the course has frequently produced champions who were at the top of their game; players who have won the Claret Jug at Muirfield include Player, Nicklaus, Trevino, Watson, Faldo, and Els.

Muirfield is an ultimate test with its harsh bunkering and occasionally punishing rough play; precision play is necessary to score well.
